About the Role

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, hard-working Service Advisor to be the face and voice of Turn 9 Motorsport to our customers. The preferred candidate will have a solid background in automotive repair servicing or in a performance automotive related field and is looking to develop skills in the aftermarket automotive parts industry.

Full time positions will work Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements

Responsibilities


  • Hospitality - At Turn 9, it is important to treat all of our customers and guest with great respect and welcoming arms. We want them to feel at home and comfortable to know their vehicles are in safe hands.

  • Direct communication with customers through phone calls, messaging system, e-mail, and face to face interactions regarding project builds, performance installs, repair work and general maintenance services.

  • Responsible for documenting all customer communication, from initial contact, through completion of all repairs and services.

  • Proactively work together with the technicians to maintain an organized calendar - scheduled work is done on time and to our high standards at Turn 9.

  • Keeps office and automotive supplies stocked includes: Inventory management, ordering parts ahead of time in preparation for the services scheduled, and verify receipts.

  • General cleaning and keeping the workspace tidy in the office area.

  • Maintaining a clean waiting room and sanitize surfaces after each customer visit.


Service Writer Qualifications and Skills


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of technical and mechanical procedures

  • Strong reading skills and understanding of service manuals

  • Strong understanding of road racing and associated performance modifications

  • Great attention to detail

  • Fast learner

  • Strong communication and writing skills


Education and Experience Requirements


  • High school diploma /GED equivalent

  • Some Engineering Experience

  • Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop experience preferred
