Has a strong interest and looking to develop skills within the performance automotive related field + the aftermarket automotive parts industry.

Job Responsibilities


  • Hospitality - At Turn 9, it is important to treat all of our customers and guest with great respect and welcoming arms. We want them to feel at home and comfortable to know their vehicles are in safe hands.

  • Perform and service Porsche vehicles and similar vehicle types.

  • Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles and completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and tire rotations.

  • Repairs mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replaces parts and components.

  • Modifies vehicle systems such as braking, suspension, drivetrain, tire and wheel for performance purposes.

  • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and preventive maintenance.

  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts.

  • Ability to mount and balance tires and perform tire repair.

  • Ability to perform performance vehicle alignments.


Automobile Technician Qualifications and Skills


  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the Porsche platform

  • Knowledge of technical and mechanical procedures

  • Strong reading skills and understanding of service manuals

  • Strong understanding of road racing and associated performance modifications

  • Great attention to detail

  • Fast learner

  • Strong communication skills - ability to clearly communicate with the customer about their vehicle.


Education and Experience Requirements


  • Porsche PTAP Certification

  • High School Diploma /GED equivalent

  • Some Engineering Experience
